Student-Led Conferences,
Here We Come!
Next week, you and your child will have the opportunity to participate in Student-Led Conferences!  Your child will be taking the lead in their learning.   They will take you through their graded work, our classroom and some of the activities we do.  The conference should take about 30 minutes.  This is an extremely valuable opportunity for the children to share their strengths, set academic goals and plan for their approach for the third quarter.

Please take a look at Sign-up Genius and pick a time that is most convenient for you.  There might be up to two additional families in our classroom during this time.

Please make arrangements to keep younger siblings at home or have them wait quietly in the hallway. If you have some private concerns and would like to meet with just me, please email me and I can set up a 20-minute conference with you.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable and restful winter break.  I was able to spend time with family in Utah.  We played games, looked at all the beautiful light exhibits, watched movies, laughed and ate a lot of good food.  Family time is the best and I'm so lucky to have so many family members close to enjoy the holidays!

Thank you for your kind and generous gifts during the month of December.  I felt very spoiled and  appreciated!
